Our Story
Founding comedian Clifford Myers got his start in stand up in 2009 in Hamilton, Ontario where he developed the reputation as dependable community-builder.
Over the course of his stand up career Clifford was best known for his work with The Brantford Comedy Festival, Mancala Monk, The Staircase Theatre and Emerson 109 where he filmed his comedy special Oddyssey.
In 2019, Clifford moved from Hamilton to Cobourg where he was hired at one Canada's fastest growing tech companies, Shopify. There, he learned the ins-and-outs of empowering entrepreneurship through tools, resources and education.
On May 4th, 2022, Clifford's time with Shopify came to an end but his spark for entrepreneurship was ready to transform into a blaze. That was the day The Other Comedy Company was born.
